Terri Roja Vineyard estate with golden hour light over vineyard rows

Napa Valley · Est. 1987

The soil shapes
everything
that rises.

Artisan sourdoughs, butter laminated by hand, and estate wines — all born from the same red volcanic earth of Napa.

Our Heritage

Three generations
tending the same
red earth.

In 1987, our grandparents planted Cabernet Sauvignon on the steep eastern slopes of Napa Valley, where the iron-rich volcanic soil gives the grapes their distinctive minerality — and the bread its unmistakable character.

Today, the third generation carries forward a philosophy that refuses to separate the vineyard from the bakery. Every loaf, every pastry, every bottle carries the signature of this place — the same red earth, the same climate, the same patient hands.

Signature Breads

From our stone mill
to your table.

Terri Roja signature sourdough with deeply caramelized crust

Valley Sourdough

48-hour fermented with our estate starter, baked in a wood-fired oven. Crisp, deeply caramelized crust with an open, chewy crumb.

Golden focaccia with sea salt and rosemary

Rosemary Focaccia

Olive oil pressed from our own groves, topped with Maldon sea salt and fresh rosemary from the garden. Baked until golden and dimpled.

French-style baguette with flour-dusted crust

Napa Baguette

A thin, shattering crust gives way to a buttery, aromatic interior. Made with locally milled whole wheat and a touch of estate Pinot reduction.

Buttery croissants stacked on a marble surface
Assorted pastries including danish and tarts
Seasonal fruit tart with vanilla custard
Golden brioche loaves cooling on a rack

Pastries & Pâtisserie

Laminated with
French precision,
California warmth.

Every croissant is folded seven times — never rushed, never substituted. Our Danish, pain au chocolat, and seasonal fruit tarts follow the same uncompromising standard.

We bake before dawn so that by mid-morning, the scent of browned butter and caramelized sugar fills the tasting room — an invitation you'll feel before you see it.

The Vineyard

Cabernet with a
sourdough finish.

Our estate vineyard spans 42 acres of steep, terraced slopes where the red volcanic soil — the source of our name, tierra roja — imparts an iron-rich depth to every bottle.

The same terroir that defines our wine also influences our bread. Grape must reduces into our enriched doughs. Wine-barrel-aged starters lend complexity. Every pairing on our table is a conversation between vine and oven.
